Spring on my calendar is March 20th and it couldn’t come a minute too soon. I love spring! I love seeing green grass and all the beautiful flowers. It’s time to do some spring clean up. I like to go through the whole house and check for maintenance issues. Here is a short list of items you might want to check out doors after a long winter.
- Check your gutters, make sure they are clean, sealed and properly attached.
- Look for drainage issues around the foundation.
- Check the siding, does it need paint, does it need to be sealed?
- Check patio decks and rails for safety.
- If you have a wood deck does it need to be sealed?
- Time to clean up the yard.
- Check your trees for breakage, do they look healthy?
- Check your air conditioning system.
- Review your home owners insurance.
